Linda Redding is the librarian at Silver Lake Regional High School in Kingston.
It was twenty years ago as librarian at Halifax Elementary School that LInda first became involved with the Children’s Melanoma Prevention Foundation when Maryellen Maguire Eisen facilitated a professional development workshop for Halifax staff. While at Halifax Elementary Linda worked with a group of students researching and producing a Boston Globe Fun Pages dedicated to being safe in the sun. Most recently Linda’s students at Silver Lake have been involved in the documentary Glenna’s Gift produced by the Children’s Melanoma Prevention Foundation and a PSA promoting Don’t Fry Day that aired on Boston morning television.
